I’m Laurie Ann McMillin Ray, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend…and yes, a designer.

I began by decorating model homes for my father, well-known builder Corky McMillin.  His philosophy was simple – everyone deserves to own a house.

Following cues from him, I operate by a similar principle – everyone deserves to make a house his home, and I’ve dedicated my career to this goal.  For more than twenty five years I have built a solid reputation in Southern California as an interior designer, and as the owner of several decorating stores.

Like me, my At Home with Laurie Ann team of designers, are passionate about decorating. We encourage our clients to develop their own personal style. They’ve worked in a variety of design formats, including Down Home Country, Luxurious Tuscany, Urban Sizzle and Casual Beach and Cottage decor and each professional offers a distinctive design to residential interiors.

We want everyone to have the good stuff. Our design consultants offer custom upholstery, window treatments, custom-made furnishings, painting, and even cabinet re-finishing. We’ll sit down with you in our design center or, if you prefer, we’ll bring fabric samples and catalogs right to your house.
